If you've decided to walk a Camino and done even a little research, you already know how confusing it gets. Every forum, video and guidebook says something different. Thousands of pilgrims walk every year, and every one of them comes home with a different story.

I'm Mark, a farmer from rural Kansas, and I've walked six Caminos across all four seasons. My first one ended in Burgos. I've learned a lot since then, mostly the hard way.

This site cuts through the noise and sticks to the practical stuff, so you can plan, walk and enjoy your Camino with more ease and less worry. Most of what's here covers the Camino Francés, from St Jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostela, and on to Fisterra and Muxía. More routes are coming as I walk them.
